Q: I'm thinking of buying this: GAINWARD GF9600GT 512MB GDDR3 Will it be able to handle the latest games? I've heard that Crysis has spec-intensive game on the market now, can it handle Crysis? How does it compare to the Nvidia 8800GT series, of which I have been recommended to but is out of my budget. A: crysis is the game that everyone compares video cards agaisnt. First NO video card can play crysis on max. The 9600GT is an excellent card. It will play crysis on pretty high settings fairly well. It's good value for the money. The 8800GT is a generation below the 9600GT. Sometimes the 8800 is better card, sometimes the 9600 is a better card. It depends on the benchmark. I think you will be very happy with the 9600GT.
