Q: my computer is telling me to delete some programs and such because i have low disk space. i only use my computer for aol,aim, and i-tunes. what are some programs that came with the computer that i can delete?
A: Get a product from filehippo.com called CCleaner. It will delete a ton of junk that is left behind from browsing. Also get a program called "defraggler" - works fantastic! I would also make a strong suggestion that you configure your browser(s) to delete temporary files when you close them. Empty your trash basket. Also configure the trash bin to use less space that is used by default. Uninstall any programs you don't use. Get a compression product and zip/rar any files you don't use - like music, photos, etc. You can unzip them when you want, then delete after use. You could also purchase an external drive to store your data files. Hope one of these helps you. Good Luck!
