Q: i've just come across a few dimm's but what would the best up grade be? i have 4x1 gig dimms running at 667 mhz or i have 2x1 gig dimms running at 800 mhz i using xp home. thanks.
A: the 2x1 GB memory is faster so will help system performance and also windows xp doesnt handle over 2GB anyway so forget about the 4x1 GB option as you wont be able to use the extra memory
