Q: i got the update so i updated it and then it shut the computer off and then i turned it back on and it says error and that i had to restore my computer for it to work again.....why did it do that
A: Maybe because of a registry error. There are countless errors you can get when you upgrade a service pack. There are thousands of setting it changes so you couldn't be exact to which one. If you restored your computer back to SP2, try downloading and installing SP3.
