Q: I'm just wondering if this would be possible. I recently purchased an external hard drive to store all my music, because I'm going to purchase a new laptop sometime soon, and I was wondering if it would at all be possible to transfer files from the current external hard drive I have to another one that has more gigs without having to save everything on my computer first. A: If for some reason what the dudes above me said doesn't work you can always plug in the hard drive with the data, select everything, copy it, then disconnect it, connect the new one and paste the stuff onto the new one
