How to change the default PC case/chassis color?

Q: Say that you have a PC, but you can't stand the case/chassis color it came with and want to have it changed. What are viable options for doing this? For example, can you have it re-painted, and if so, is there a special kind of paint you need? Or is it possible to buy a new chassis that has the color you want, and just move all the internal components to the new case? If this route, how do you know if the old and new cases are compatible?

A: In my opinion it would be best to get a new pc case. Trust me you will get something much better than a repaint. For example if you have a default chassis like hp compaq or acer then things in your pc are really warm. With a new case you can more air flow.
