memory high? DDR2 1100?

Q: If my motherboard supports DDR2 1066 and I get DDR2 1100 RAM, will my computer be able to run the RAM?

A: Yes, so long as the memory is the same type, ie DDR2, not DDR1 or DDR3, a faster memory module should be able to reduce it's clock speed in order to work with the motherboard. So you'll only get 1066 performance out of a 1100 memory stick. That said, some motherboards can still reject the memory stick. If you haven't yet purchased it, your best option by far is to purchase the correct type of module, and in pairs, for best performance.
