Q: I have 2 maxtors, 80GB and 160GB, They are identical models(ATA133).When I boot up a screen shows as all failing. I can put either one in and they work but not together, Even if I put one hard drive as 2nd master slave it won't boot. Is there a detailed guide on this? Thanks.
A: set the jumpers of one drive to master and the other one on slave as shown on the hard drive. then connect both on the same cable.
