ide hard drive type?

Q: i have an ide 100 harddrive iwould an ide 33 or 133 work as a secondary harddrive or would it not work

A: Depends on a few things. If you run both drives from the same Cable (one as Master, One as Slave) they will only function as IDE100 - the speed of the slowest drive. If you run the 133 drive on an IDE100 connector then you'll only get IDE100 performance whatever. IDE33/IDE66 are really slow old standards - for CD drives and the like (which means you shouldn't put a CD drive and Hard Drive on the same cable either)
