Q: i bought a laptop about 2 years ago and since then i have reformatted it loads and loads of times, but unfortunately it has never been as good as it first was. will doing a low level format restore it to its former glory. it is a compaq evo n620c.
A: It shouldn't slow it down but since its old, that may be the problem. Time will slow it besides computer get faster every 2 years. Reinstall the OS using your recovery discs and make sure you download every update for it.
