Q: Now i have a new computer and it is a SATA hardrive i want to set that as a slave drive and my old hardrive as a master so i can get my old data on to my new computer how do i do this.
A: SATA Hard Drives do not have a setting for Slave or Master so they just appear as a normal hard drive. All you need to do to make the old Hard Drive the master is to make sure the connector thingy on the back of the drive is set for Master and it will all work from there.
