Q: I plan on purchasing a new notebook and was wondering go for a dual core now, or wait for quad core to become the standard?
A: Multiple Cores ! It would be interesting to know the percentage of people that have got them but really need them. For example I have a 2.4ghz Pentium 4, it does everything and at speed. I could possibly see the advantage of a Dual Core, but Quad Core complete overkill, unless you are heavily into gaming. LUg.
