A: Everything else being equal, doubling the cache will give you approximately 10% increase in productivity. Most laptops can do everything for most peoples needs. Unless you are using professional applications like autocad or maya, a rugged 9 cell (battery capacity) laptop is more than adequate. Increases in productivity for the average user has marginally increased in the last five years. It takes more time for the hdd to load up on a laptop then anything else. If you want to have a speedy laptop, get a 7200rpm hdd.
