Q: i have a dell dimension desktop e310 and i had a new motherboard harddrive and memory upgrade and i dont kno if i havent installed all the drivers i need off the dell website or if my memory stick isnt working properly i went from 512 to 1GB so i just have one stick in right now but my computer is so slow and it wasnt doin this before i had the harddrive and memory upgrade, i had those done at the same time, can you please help me and tell me where my problem may lie and how i can resolve this issue myself if possible?
A: 1 Run CHKDSK, it restores missing files. or 2 go to Start>Run and type "sfc /scannow" without the quotes, have your installation OS CD ready on the standbye That'll replace any missing or corrupt system files
