Q: yes. so this morning after a looong and annoying call with comcasts tech support (hah, no help, what else is new..) i found myself with a problem. my brothers computer, self-built with windows vista, doesnt seem to be...appearing? im not sure how to describe it haha. i pressed the power button so yknow, i could turn it off, but the lights in his computer flashed like 5 times and then his monitor wouldnt display anything like normal and the lights in his keyboard/mouse arent working either. its like its in sleep mode but its not kinda sorta. please help me fix this so i dont get my ass kicked by my older brother? :D
A: Im not sure how to solve this you didnt describe the problem that well but try this. go to the back of the computer look for the large box that has a switch on it and there is a large fat cable that connects to it flip the switch off then on again. see if that works. or because its a built computer check this open the computer side and look for a small square called the cpu and see if he put a fan over it. he could have burned the CPU. In which case it wouldnt be your fault it would be his. leave it the way it is a tell him what an idiot he is
