Q: I got windows 2000 professional (it's faster than XP because i install it every day so it can keep the speed). Here is the problem. After i install it and open it, after 3-5 mins it gives me isass.exe error. Here's the message: Isass.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart program. An error log is being created. I tried AVG and Avast! but they can't help me. I think Isass.exe is a program that keeps windows moving because in 1 min after the message appears, my pc freezes :|. PLS HELP ME! :(
A: Isass.exe could be a virus. Be warned! Anyway, do the install process WITHOUT Internet connection (unplug the Ethernet cable). There is a big chance of a viral infection at the moment your network card opens the network connection. After the installation, and before plugging the network cable, install your anti virus.
