Q: It says DDR3 for the memory but the motherboard i'm going to get runs DDR2 800, so does that mean that it isn't compatible? My motherboard i'm going to get is the EVGA nForce 680i SLI 775. If it doesn't work, what is a card that will work? I'm getting a a Q6600 :) And thanks for clearing that up for me
A: DDR3 is for the VIDEO memory not the system memory so your straight going with that setup it's almost like mine. Hope you got a good Core 2 so you can clock up and not bottleneck those two cards. But anyways yes DDR2 is good ram to have because you can get a good 1:1 overclock but the ddr3 you don't have to worry about it's on the card under the cooler.
