Q: ok i have a mother board with 2 PCI - 1 PCI-E x1 - 1 PCI-E x8 - 2 PCI-E x16 and i want to buy 2 of these video card and i was wondering if they both will work on my motherboard they have PCI Express x16 2.0 support here is a link if needed http://shop4.frys.com/product/5579750?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

A: 1. the motherboard needs to be crossfire compatible. it will either be crossfire or sli. If its sli you will need two nvidia cards. 2. you will need sufficient power supply to run two cards. 3. you are paying a lot of money for two cards that are not very powerful. If your budget is $124+$124 = $248, then if crossfire: 2x radeon 3870 or if sli 2x 9600gt, or, preferably 2x 8800gt if you can find them for under $125 ea (they are available at this price if you shop around) either option will cost the same or less, but will radically outperform what you are proposing with the 3650's If your budget is $124 (ie you already have 1 card and are buying a second card), you can get a single 8800gt for $119 which would hugely outperform what two 3650's are capable of. Even a single 9600gt will likely outperform the two cards you are proposing. two very weak cards /=/ great performance. it just results in sluggish graphics processing. You are better off revising your dual card options or just running one decent quality mid-range card, rather than two low range items.
