Q: It was working perfectly until today. It happened this morning.
A: Set your "boot" sequence to (boot from cd) in the "bios". Insert your windows installation disc into the cd drive and restart your computer. From the menu, select "r" (repair). When it asks you which "windows" you want to repair press "1". next when it asks for a password just press "enter". on the next screen which contains a lot of "dos" choices, Scroll to the comand prompt:- c:\windows and type "fixboot" without the parenthis and press enter. At the next message type "exit". Hopefully windows should start up. Good luck
