Q: and will it make me comvert films faster? thanks well alltoghter i will have a 1gb and a 256mb ram installed, so will that be alot better than a 512mb? or wont there be much difference? thanks
A: pound for pound, upgrading your ram is the best way to improve the performance and speed of your pc. though, converting films and any digitising work can be very, very demanding on pcs and usually requires a decent specified pc. so, this will make a difference.
