Q: I have a motherboard that supports DDR2 RAM, but i want to get a gig more. So i assume i'm gonna have to get DDR2 RAM. But then im not sure because there is different types like DDR2 PC-4200, and DDR2 PC-2700. Anybody know what thats all about?
A: If you plan to install your new RAM yourself, I recommend that you take your current piece out of the unit and take it shopping with you to ensure you purchase the correct type. The types that you quote are just about different megahertz speeds of access. (pc-4200 etc.)
