Q: My card idles at about 80c!!! how can i cool it down??? Thats a hot card and i need a solution. thanks.
A: Download something like RivaTuner (idk if it works with ATI), though I believe ATI's drivers also allow you to tweak the card. Simply boost the stock fan settings and it will cool it off. Those cards only default to 20% fan speed or something stupid, so bump it up to like 50-75% and you'll be good. Alternatively, you could buy a aftermarket heatsink for $30-50, though depending on who made your video card it could void the warranty.
