Q:
A: You do not need to install a RAID driver in Windows. However. If there is a driver or software available for your machine I would suggest installing it. It can monitor your RAID and if it is a mirror let you know if a drive has failed and help you diagnose problems within the RAID from windows. The tools are very helpful so I would install them. If you don't have them you can get them from the Motherboard Manufacturers website. Good Luck HTH.
