Q: Is there ANY webpage out there that compares the two companies processor speeds? AMDs GHz and Intel's GHz mean 2 different things! AHHHH!!!
A: Yup, you're right, pro one way, or the other. Just like the Ford v/s Chevy thing, love it, or hate it... There are many sites that do comparisons, but are they also bios? Ever watch on TV one show shows Ford ahead the next Chevy, well they can't both be ahead. Both CPU's are good and I build many systems of both for customers, I do however believe that Intel has the fastest processor right now, but the best, I don't know. Intel is more expensive, that much I can tell you for sure. Both processors are great when everything is matched up properly, and for what I do on a computer, it makes no difference to me. I have built very powerful systems of both brands. Personally, I run AMD, I don't need the expensive very high speed units, and I am not a gamer. The only games I play are some older Hoyle card games, which by the way would run on a ten year old system.
