I have an ATI graphics card I can't identify

Q: I tried searching for the SN and the PN but had no luck myself. The card is red (haha, if that helps) and the PN on a sticker on the back of the card is: 102A2600501 00001 I'd just like to add, i'm on vista. Yeah, not even an ATI logo or anything. I couldn't find any helpful details on the card and my brother threw the box away. It seems that you can't start/run on vista - is there a way of doing it other than the start menu? Oh, also - for the record. I don't know if the card's installed. I just put it in, windows hasn't done anything. Sorry i'm such a tech noob when it comes to this stuff.

A: Haha yeah the red PCB doesnt give us much. If you had known nothing I would have said "It is an ATI card of some sorts" (Most Nvidia makers prefer Blue, Black, or Green PCB to avoid it matching the ATI logo.) Anyway I believe that number corresponds to an ATI Radeon X300 card. I can't be sure but I have a utility to help you out. http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ go to this website and download the GPU-Z utility. Run it and it should give you all you ever wanted to know and then some about your graphics card. It can find clock speed, memory speed, amount of memory, pipelines, etc. Its really an awesome little tool. Good luck!!
