Q: I have to ship my laptop back to Dell for repair. They suggested I remove my hard drive and keep it at home. I know how to remove it, but what's the best way to store it? I don't have any special anti-static sleeves. Can I put it in a Zip-Lock bag?
A: Just try not to touch the circuit board part on the bottom, or allow any metal to touch it. I just wrap mine up in a hand towel and keep it in a drawer out of the dust. Still, you should back up your data (pics, video, music, docs, etc.) before you remove it. They should all be in "My Documents".
