Q: I want to buy a second Hard Disk for my PC but I don't know if it's possible to just add the extra GB to my current HD because I don't want to format it just to add some extra memory. For example I have 160GB and I bought 160GB more... I have 60GB in C: and 100 in D: now I want to add 100GB to C: and 60GB to D: without formatting anything...is this possible and if it is can someone explain for me pls or give me a guide in internet that I could follow. My HD is SATA if it makes any difference. Thanks.
A: if you want to put addt'l hardisk but you your first hardisk already have partitions 60 on C and 100 on D, you can't add on C and D but you will have another drive, which you can call drive E, it depends on what drive letter you will assign, but you can't add it on your existing drive C and D. hope this clear your doubts..
