Q: I am trying to power three stepper motors that draw .5amps at 5volts each. If I have a power supply that is rated 30 amps at 5 volts, would the motors use just what they need or would the 30 amps destroy them? Thanks
A: you used 3 motors with 0.5 amp,So total current need for your circut 1.5 amp for this,you can use 2 to 3 amp 5v Powersupply that's enough.If you use high current power supply (such as 30A 5v) surly it will destroy your circuit and motors. tajpaloo@yahoo.com
