Q: Not Centrino Core 2 Duo....Centrino 2...i just say an HP laptop with it as its processor. What is it and what are the benefits of it I am not running Centrino....Im running Intel Quad Core Extreme....you gotta love those quad cores huh?
A: The difference between Centrino Core 2 duo and Centrino 2 is basically this: The core 2 dou processor is faster, therefore more expensive, and runs a dual processing unit (two procesors running side by side). The Centrino 2 is still a nice processor...Nowadays, they even for 4x's processing units (4 processors running simultaneously).
