A: the 8600gts will require a native 6pin pci-e power connector(dont use adapters....yes i know the card comes with one) and a minimum of 18 amps.....this means at least a 500watt PSU with at least 22amps across the 12v rails(i say rails because you want more than one) Nspire makes a good psu....500watts, 32 amps, 2 12 v rails, and it can be had retail for around $65 bucks.....and it is a heavy, rugged psu....have run one in my secondary machine for 2.5 years powering an E6600, 3 gb ram, 4 HDDS, and an 8800gts 320mb card and it hasnt ever really gotten warm.....silent as well(120mm fan) hope this helps!!!
