Q: Hi, well,I bought RAM 1 GB but when i but it in the Methrboard My PC can't be open and I already installed Windows XP & VISTA but when i open each windows the windows cannot be open,THat whats the matter, If the problem from my PC or Metherboard What can I do to this Problem That i need to install a RAM that i bought > This is the Properties For my RAM i bought.... A: First, If I guess right, you would have to completely disconnect you PC from the mains power supply & open the system to see what kind of RAM Module your PC has come pre-installed from the manufacturer(i.e.. whether Its a DDR1 OR DDR2 RAM Module, Its Clock speed etc...).Once you compare the RAM installed with the RAM you purchased & find that they are same(Whether they are DDR1 OR DDR2), then insert both the RAM Module properly into their respective 'Slots'.But, If the RAM Module's are different to each other( DDR1 is different in make to DDR2 & differ in the 'Pin' arrangments!!).Then you would have to replace the RAM Module & get the one which is similar (physically) to the one installed on your system, then there's every chance that your PC will turn on until & unless there's no other hardware issue............
