Q: I just bought an HP Pavilion and I cracked open the case to peek inside. Maybe I need my eyes checked, but I'll be damned if I can find the graphics card. It just isn't there! Where is it?!?!
A: Look at where you plug your monitor. If your monitor is being attached to a device perpendicular to your mother board, then that's your graphics card. If there is no device and you are attaching your monitor to a port on your mother board then your graphics is onboard (graphics device is a part of the mother board).
