Q: Keeps opening and closing really fast and it is getting annoying, I put a disc in there hoping it would stop but it didn`t so please someone help? how can i remove it if it`s in my cpu, it is built into the tower i think.
A: It sounds like you are talking about your optical drive (CD or DVD). you can always open the case and unplug it temporarily, that will stop it. or remove the driver in software so the computer does not know it exists. if you do a virus scan and clean up your computer and it keeps misbehaving, then it might be bad and need replacing. they are not expensive, around $30 for a good dvd burner by mail order.
