4kb? Formatted USB to FAT32

Q: ok i formatted my corsair 1gb flash drive to fat32, but when i right click the drive and check how much space the flash drive has on 'My Computer' it says 958mb free and 4kb being used... i have nothing on the hard drive, absolutely nothing, no thumbs or hidden folders or anything.. but im sor of a perfectionist so i need to know why that 4kb is there!!! before i formatted the drive it said i had 959mb free and 0kb being used.. but i cant remember if it was formatted to fat.. or fat32.. heres a pic if u dont understand: http://i36.tinypic.com/eb6b7s.png

A: Hi. Most of flash are formated using the FAT not FAT32. Try to format it again using FAT. Dont worry about the lost 4kb its just additional for the MBR being used because mostly it only uses 512kb for the allocation size.
