Q: Kind of refresh it, or does it really not help anything? Also if you leave your computer on continuously without shutting it down does it harm your computer? For some reason my computer will not use the "hibernate" or "standby" feature, if I select that it just says I have some program that will not allow the computer to go on standby. So I usually just leaving it running, and then maybe every 3 days I'll reboot it. Would this cause my computer to run slower?
A: My advice is to get a program called CCleaner and use it to clean all the unimportant crap off of your computer. Also you can chose what programs are running when windows starts and it is a very reliable user friendly program. Also grab Defraggler from them and defrag your hard drive. Make sure you use the registry cleaner provided with CCleaner as it deletes any no longer user registry entries that your pc tries to run. And no, leaving the pc on all the time will not hurt it. If you have any questions IM me and I'll give you my email address or we can go through this step by step via IM. Hope this helps.
