A: once you pick any new GPU look at its power connectors. the new series of ATI and nVidia cards now take 2 (TWO) PCIe 6pin or 8pin connectors. if you are planning on Crossfire/SLI, then double that number. its better to get a PSU that you are working toward using at full capacity then getting one that works for what you have now, but wont with new parts. single power connector GPU's- 400W single card, 550W Dual. dual connector- 500W single (2 PCIe connectors) 600W dual (4 PCIe connectors)
