Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family vs Nvidia 6200?

Q: I have an Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family grapics card. Is it equivalent to the Nvidia 6200? Can it run the UT engine? I was looking to be able to play an upcoming game. Spellborn.

A: I'm not sure how your Intel 82915G Chipset compares to a Nvidia 6200, but even if it does compare well, it still not good news for gaming. Your graphics card is an integrated one. Integrated graphics cards are very underpowered for gaming. And the Nvidia 6200 is a low end card that's not really designed for gaming. Also, this game uses Unreal Engine 2.5, which is the same used in Bioshock. Although they're both modified engines, the requirements should be similar. We still don't know what are the minimum system requirements for Spellborn as it is still unreleased, but Bioshock's minimum graphics card requirement is: DirectX 9.0c compliant card with 128 MB RAM (NVIDIA 6600/ATI X1300 or better, excluding ATI X1550); must support Pixel Shader 3.0 But, from experience, for you to have an enjoyable time you need at least a GeForce 9600GT 512MB. My suggestion to you is to purchase a discrete graphics card (if your motherboard has a PCI-Express or AGP slot) if you really want to play that game, or any other game for the matter. You also might need to upgrade your power supply unit if you purchase a video card like that as it requires a minimum PSU of 450 Watts.
