Q: Hi, The other day i changed my motherboard from a foxconn to asrock, but i keep getting the bsod, but i was using this motherboard before and i got the blue screen of deaat, this was in say november there, but then i switched to the foxconn and i never got one bsod, i switched to the asrock yesterday and i have been getting the bsod again, i have reinstalled windows and have used the drivers i got with the motherboard, so please help because i only switched to the asrock because it can support 8gbs of ram instead of 4gb and also i dont want to reinstal windows. Thanks Well i meant the other day i did reinstall windows but because i had to and i dont want to reinstal it again because it takes too restoring backups, reinstaling software and re-intalling updates etc etc
A: you WILL have to reinstall windows...out of all the pc's ive worked on only 2 have worked when motherboards have been swaped without reinstaling windows.....only way to go im afraid....i know you dont want to but you HAVE to
