Q: I'm new to MIDI applications and need to know if I can use Garritan Personal Orchestra with a Line-In keyboard instead of a MIDI Controller.
A: Unfortunately, no. You need a midi controller. The controller records your note strokes as data which coresponds to sounds on your PC. The only way this data can be understood by your PC is via a usb or serial cable from the controller. Line In only lets you feed an audio source into your computer. Sorry about that.
