Q: I need help finding space on my computer!!! 1. How can i tell how much memory i have on my hard drive? 2. How can i delete unwanted files? 3.Are there unwanted files hidden that i can find and delete? 4. If you can think of anything else that could help!
A: 1. My Computer-->look at Local Disk (C:) or other primary hard drive and next to it their should be two columns, total size and free space. Free Space tells you how much room you have left and total size tells you the total amount of storage your hard drive has. 2. Right click them and select delete, and confirm it. Make sure you empty the recycling bin otherwise those files are technically still on the computer...just moved from their old location to the recycling bin. 3. sometimes their are but often times its best not to touch them. So for the majority leave those files as is. 4. you could try disk defrag and cleanup. start-->all programs-->accessories-->system tools-->what i just said. Make sure u do cleanup before defrag. good luck!
