Is the Xbox360 and PS3 proccessors are so powerful...Why don't they use them for computers?

Q: I meant "IF"

A: Both systems are built solely for playing games that's why it's not used as computers. However, they already have some of the functions of a computer like online gaming. However, the PS3 can function more as a computer. For example, you can install Linux on the PS3 and then run it from the console. With it's powerful cell processor, an astrophysicist replaced a supercomputer by interlinking 8 PS3's. This proves that they are powerful but they're built with a different set of hardware that's why we don't use them as normal computers
