Q: It was working and then one day it decides to stop and i can't hear anything, when I've finished recording .. and yes I have been to the bottom right hand corner of the screen and tried the "properties" thing nothing is working !!!!!!!!
A: Press Windows Key+Pause Break. Go to Hardware tab-->Device Manager. Look for sound, video and game controllers. Are there any exclamation marks of yellow color? If not, and all audio devices are working properly, then go to Control Panel--Sounds, etc. Audio tab and configure playback/recording devices. It's possible there's some checkmark in "mute" box or something like that.
