RAM question?

Q: is my RAM prone to virus or is somthing else making it go bad? it has 0-60 hard faults a second and spikes at 110 hard faults a second. Can RAM get a virus? thanks.

A: Things that can make your RAM go bad: Factory Defects/Malfunctions Extensive Usage/Not Refreshing RAM Regularly Wear And Tear RAM cannot get a virus but it can be corrupted from surges and whatnot. Extensive Usage means if you leave your computer on overnight for extended periods of time. Refreshing Ram regularly can be done by daily restarts but preferably shutdowns. Once your computer shuts down anything stored in the RAM is erased. I recommend buying new RAM before the RAM craps out. Hope that helps
