Q: I have a 250gb seagate hard drive and i don't know why but it sometimes keeps freezing it's not spyware or a virus it's clean and protected hopefully. When it does freeze i have to press the restart button on my computer case and sometimes when i restart it it will take like 20 seconds to boot but when i shut it down and boot it up it works fine. Can anyone help me out.
A: A 250gb is a much storage for a user. All you need is a maintenance check, start with disk clean up by going to my computer. Right click on C: drive go to properties and click on disk cleanup and click on files to clean. Defragment in manage your hard disk and had it partition to safe keep data on selected drive partition. Have a good antivirus protection to scan all files. Activate delete files upon detedting viruses. I hope this helps.
