Barebones Pc-Mind voting?

Q: What pc package would you guys say is better? http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3947466&Sku=P450-9108%20C or http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3970906&CatId=332 I can afford either one, barely but I can, i have spare cash for immediate parts only, like a fan etc. but I would be in your debt if anyone could tell me which is better for the price, parts, and what might I need besides the kit? Now I would also love it if i can get feedback on this kit for building it? I will be making pc's (for school) after summer vacation. this is the pc tools kit i am looking at- http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=31722&CatId=47 I wanted something "cheap", expandable and something I could dig my teeth and mind into :D. so I choose these pc's. Now I would love it if anyone has better deals, or ideas. Please share I am always willing to learn. Thank you for your help Jason. Thank you. Since I have barely looked into what tools are needed in these kits I dont know what needs to be on hand? but I will definitely find out. So we have 1 vote for computer number 2. :D. anymore? I Thank you for your support ;). Oh, and looking at the specs of the second computer kit i am just pulling this idea out but. Will this second computer kit be compatible with windows vista? just the basic, or starter version? All of my new gadgets use vista and XP hardly works with them thats why. I have a 320gig wd external hardrive so I hardly care for space right now. That computer kit looks good, but the reviews say it need to be updated with an older processor...for the bios to work properly. DO you happen to own this system? is it compatible with low versions of vista? and could someone explain to me the difference with 3.40GHz Dual-Core OEM Processor and the Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53GHz Retail Processor BX80571E7200 one? looking at it alone the first one looks faster. whats the overall difference in those process..? GmanDO That is hilarious-The way you put it. But really its what I looked at as well. I use photoshop alot. so 1gig wont fit me well. Now if i were to add this barebones kit?- http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3901234&CatId=2405. which is better of the three?

A: Dude, you must be kidding. The first one comes with a neat motherboard (neat graphics chip on board, XFX offers great lifetime warranty) a dual core Pentium, a big hard drive, THREE gigs of memory, a DVD writer and a 500 PSU and you weight that against a weak Athlon (overall) configuration? What video card is going to run on a 350W PSU these days? 1 gig of RAM? You must be thinking about playing Pacman like crazy on this machine huh? No offense of course. Choose wisely oh Jedi master!
