Q: Ive got a geforce 6200 unlocked to have extra pp's and overclocked alot, and its been that way since jan 2007. Lately while playing Oblivion, i have been getting strange serious errors after hours of play. I run the game so the settings look good, and it runs slow and works my card ALOT. The errors include things like my computer stopping the video feed to my monitor, and one time crashing the game, setting the res. to 800x600, and the color to 4bit. I believe this was a recovery action by the card after it overheated, so that it could cool down while allowing me to at least shut down. It has regularly reached 120 degrees celcius since jan 2007 (i know thats insane hot) , but hasnt had many probs until now. So, who thinks these are signs of a dieing video card? I dont care if it dies since i can get something 3x as good for like $50, but i still lowered its clock settings to keep it alive till i build a new machine.
