Q: You were to take the hard drive of my desktop and put it into another computer?
A: Just about everything. Anything stored in that drive. All of the computer's information is stored in a hard drive. If you only have one hard drive, then the registry, documents, system files, everything is on that drive. If you have more, then the main partition stores the system information, while the other drives act as external drives, used for storing documents and anything you put in them.
