Q: i have three laptops all which are able to use wireless interner. one has wireless card the other two have inbuilt wireless recievers. i bought a "wireless access point" and it is a linksys console. the problems is when i try to connect multiple systems to the network only one connect and the rest are connected with limited access or dont even connect. i think the problem is because the access point is connected directly to my modem which only connects to one laptop at a time. it thought it should be connected to a dsl router or something like that. or would i be able to connect multiple systems if i buy a "wireless router" and connect it to modem. please i need help
A: I have a DSL modem connected to a router, then I have my wireless connected to the router. I can run different laptops at the same time, or cable the computers from the router itself. I haven't experienced any problems, but make sure you secure your wireless router.
