Q: Ok so my computer shows that there are some important updates that i should install, but there are also some other that are optional and i don't know if i should install them as well. Below is a list of the updates, please tell me which i should install and/or what they do, cuz i've never heard of some of these: 1.Atheros Wireless network adapter 2. Realtek Fast Ethernet NIC 3.Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad 4. compliant value added logical and general purpose device 5. microsoft silverlight 1.0
A: #s 1-4 are driver updates for your computer, you can ignore them unless you are having a specific issue. 5. (Silverlight) is a new Microsoft software that is similar to Flash. Some sites are using it now. You might as well install it in case you run across a site that requires you to use it. It has nothing to do with Internet Explorer.
