Q: I've recently noticed a extreme slow down in my pc. For instance...my brothers Sempron 3400+ is ousting my Athlon 64 X2 6400+ in Windows Vista performance (it boots faster than mine...takes my pc nearly 5 min to turn on even though the only things that load at start up are MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger, and NOD32). I've defragged the hard drive (which by the way took 73hrs 14min 22secs...ya and guess wat...the hard drive had 14% defragmentation). I am beside myself right now. My pc experience is advanced and I don't have a clue as to what is wrong...i've tried everything. Any more suggestions? Or should I just recover back to the start (fresh clean new hard drive). Thanks.
